Small divey bar that is no frills but can offer a drink if you're staying at the Remington hotel next door.
There are a couple tvs, and a couple gambling machines in the back. Other than that, there is a full bar with all the hard liquors, wines, and beer. The bartenders are all super nice, what you would expect with the southern charm.
Downer is that they don't serve food. Well, they have frozen pizza and potato chips. Oh and I see a jar of olives so you might be able to score some of you ask nicely.
Definitely recommend if you want a drink or watch a game. Food, noooooo! -

This is indeed a quaint local bar with a great courtyard patio. Unfortunately it's one of the few bars that still allows smoking and when it fills up the smoke it literally unbearable- even on the patio.

Two friends, my wife, & I visited Straycat over the course of last weekend & we all agreed that there is plenty to like about the Cheers-ish atmosphere, the service, & the prices. We greatly enjoyed the patio, which provided the quintessential Southern feeling of sitting on a comfortable porch with warm weather, drinks, friends & a slight but picturesque view. We also had pleasant experiences ordering drinks, as bartenders were quick to remember our orders, polite, & overall very welcoming. We look forward to visiting Straycat anytime we're in Shreveport!

My favorite bar in the whole of Shreveport. Has a divey interior that's cozy and feels good when full. There's a patio out back that rivals anything in town. Prompt, knowledgeable service, decent selection of beers and spirits. I wish the place had space for a keg, but aside from that it's genuinely a fantastic spot. Convenient to the Remington and waterfront casino hotels.

The most chill place to go to. If you don't like loud riff raff, and constant drama, this is the place to relax and get away. If you want a drink and also have some fresh air they have a patio that you can escape to. Perfect place for introverts. And very knowledgeable bartenders. Go see Lee and call him papi!
